Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases from mybibblio [full legal entity to be added] (“mybibblio”, “we”, “us”).

Personalised products — no change-of-mind returns

Every mybibblio book is personalised and made to order for your child. For this reason, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply once production has begun, and we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind.

Please double-check your child’s name, spelling, age, pronouns and all other details before you order, as these are used exactly as you provide them.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items — your rights are protected

This does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your book must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. So if your book arrives:

damaged (e.g. in transit), or
defective (e.g. a printing or binding fault), or
incorrect due to an error on our part (e.g. we misprinted a name that you provided correctly),

then you are entitled to a free replacement or a refund.

How to report a problem

Please contact us at hello@mybibblio.com within 14 days of receiving your order, with:

your order number, and
one or two clear photos of the issue.

We’ll review it promptly and arrange a replacement or refund. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

Errors in the details you provided

If a book is incorrect because of information that was entered incorrectly at checkout (for example a misspelled name), it falls outside the faults above. We’re not obliged to refund or replace in that case — but please get in touch and we’ll always do our best to help, including offering a reprint where possible.

Cancelling before production

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible — we can only do so before your book has gone into production (within 1 hour of ordering where possible). See our Terms of Service for more.
