These Terms govern your use of this store and your purchase of products from mybibblio [full legal entity to be added] (“mybibblio”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our products

We create personalised children’s books. Each book is custom-made for your child using the details and photo you provide, and is illustrated using AI image tools in your chosen art style.

Because every book is made to order and personalised, please check your details carefully before ordering.

2. Eligibility and your responsibilities

By ordering, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child featured, or you have the permission of their parent/guardian to order a book using their details and photo.
  • You have the right to upload the photo you provide, and it shows the child the book is for. You will not upload photos of other people without their consent (or their parent/guardian’s consent).
  • The content you provide is lawful and appropriate and does not infringe anyone’s rights.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the name, spelling, age, pronouns and other details you submit.

3. Acceptable content

We will not create books from material that is unlawful, explicit, hateful, or that depicts or endangers a child inappropriately. We review every order and may refuse or cancel any order (with a refund) that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is inappropriate.

4. The nature of AI-generated artwork

Your child’s likeness in the book is an artistic, story-book interpretation created using AI tools — it is designed to be recognisable and charming, but it is not a photographic reproduction and results naturally vary between styles and stories. By ordering, you understand and accept this.

Every book is reviewed by a person before it is printed.

5. Orders, pricing and payment

  • Prices are shown on the product pages and at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already placed.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. Your order is a contract once we confirm it.
  • We may decline or cancel an order (and refund you) — for example if we cannot verify details, the content breaches these Terms, or there is a pricing error.

6. Personalisation, changes and cancellation

Because books are personalised and made to order, you can only change or cancel an order before production has begun — please contact us as soon as possible (within 1 hour of ordering where possible). Once production starts, the order cannot be cancelled for change of mind. See our Refund Policy for damaged or faulty items and your statutory rights.

7. Delivery

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. Delivery is a flat £2.99 per order and is free on orders over £50, and most orders arrive within 5–7 working days; delivery costs and times are shown at checkout. 8. Intellectual property

  • You keep the rights to the photo you upload.
  • We grant you the right to use your finished personalised book for personal, non-commercial use (enjoying, gifting, keeping).
  • We (and our providers) retain all rights in our story templates, written content, illustration styles, designs, branding and website. You may not reproduce, resell or commercially exploit our stories or artwork.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
